Post subject:  getting a clunk (new vid. is my hunch right?)

i am getting a clunk from the front end, almost sounds like the drive line but i dont know, wondering if anyone has had the same issue, i get it when i brake 1 pop, and then when i accelerate another pop, then again when i brake. i can duplicate the issue fairly easily but im having a hard time getting to it, i have already ruled out the struts, A-arms, ball joints, and bushings for the lower a arms. any insight would be appreciated s i am at a loss and dont want to take it to the stealership for them to charge me an arm and leg

thanks
robert

Anti-sway bar tight? I've heard that can be problematic for some people.

Caliper bolts, bolts holding caliper mount, or as above sway bar. Looking won't show it need to physically check tightness. Good Luck.

I have the same issue, I have done a bit of a search and it seems to point to the rear driveshaft slip yoke.
You have to pull out the driveshaft clean the out the yoke and regrease, hope it works as it is a cheap fix.

I had this same issue to and my sway bar was loose on one side. It didn't look like it or feel like it until i put a wrench on it. But still have a clunk when i turn but i am thinking that is a worn tie rod.

i think i found it, i believe the noise (one while stopping and one while accelerating) is coming from my rotor shifting. i put a video up. any thoughts???

They only way thats your problem is if your lug nuts were hand tight at best, when you tighten the lug nuts you essentially make the rotor one with the tire and hub. Torque your lug nuts and see if it goes away.
