Post subject:  Five ERROR Codes!

Went out early this morning, the first cold damp day of Autumn, and started my '05 KJ. Started just like normal, no hesitation, ignition in the first crank, but my Check Engine light came on. Seemed to be running good, so I drove it to work without a single issue. When I got here I checked the error codes and I had FIVE of them, here's the codes and the possible problems:

P0462 FUEL LEVEL SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT LOW .
P0480 COOLING FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT.
P0480 FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT EXCESSIVE CURRENT.
P0480 FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN CIRCUIT.
P0480 FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT CIRCUIT.
P0480 FAN 1 CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND .
P0481 FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT EXCESSIVE CURRENT.
P0481 FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN CIRCUIT.
P0481 FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN CIRCUIT.
P0481 FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT CIRCUIT.
P0481 FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT CIRCUIT.
P0481 FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT CIRCUIT.
P0481 FAN 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND .
P0481 FAN 2CONTROL CIRCUIT EXCESSIVE CURRENT.
P0627 FUEL PUMP CONTROL CIRCUIT .
P0645 A/C CLUTCH CONTROL CIRCUIT .
P0645 A/C CLUTCH RELAY CIRCUIT EXCESSIVE CURRENT .
P0645 A/C CLUTCH RELAY CIRCUIT OPEN CIRCUIT .
P0645 A/C CLUTCH RELAY CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND.
P0645 A/C CLUTCH RELAY SHORT CIRCUIT .

Any ideas? I suspect because it was damp, that maybe I had a low voltage condition somewhere in the system??? I'm going to reset the computer and drive home and see what happens.

Just an Update...
Reset the computer before driving home that evening, and ever since, it's been fine with no error codes or engine/electrical problems. Must be gremlins.

Had it been sitting for a while? Sometimes that can cause some ghost codes to pop up. Usually (I am a diesel tech at a Freightliner dealer) when we see a bunch of codes like that with low counts there is a problem in the wiring harness. I would keep my eye on it and if any of them come back check your connector at the ECM. Moisture might have got in there and caused some corrosion.

Thanks for the advice, I'll check it. It's driven over 80 miles a day, so it had only sat since the previous night. I've had other weird problems, the alarm going off in the middle of the night and the only way to stop it was to disconnect the battery, but this hasn't happened in two years. I just hope a critter hasn't gotten into the wiring, since it's parked outside in the mountains.

Seen that happen too often ha ha. They usually only make homes in cars that have been sitting for a while though. Happened to my girlfriends car after it had been sitting for like a week. Ate through the darn injector harness, plug wires and other various sensor wires.
