This is where the front driveshafts normally fail, right? I'm assuming this is the source of noise in mine since its seeping.

It'll need replaced with this replaceable CV Joint?

They usually go bad on the back of the driveshaft, the boot wears out.

I see, so what could be going bad in this one? Its starting to make a little bit of noise and a little vibration.

I would take a good look at the rear boot If you are having a vibration.
