hey, been doing some searching for a decent lift for my liberty. so far i think i know about 80% of what i need.
ome 927 coil for the front
ome 948 coil for the rear
ome n132l shock rear
2 pucks per side rear
tera bumpstops front

those are the parts that i'm pretty sure i need. in searching i didnt really know what front struts to go with. also, what exactly is a conduit spacer or whatever? and iso's for the rear i can just stack on the stock ones right? are people adding 1 or 2 iso's to the rear? i get the idea of a clevis lift but is that necessary at first with these parts or just when it settles?
i already bought 15" soft 8's and 31-10.50 duratracs so dying to get a lift so i can go try it out!
i'm not planning on a heavy bumper anytime soon. probably just skids asap and thats basically all the weight i will be adding. if i forgot anything let me know. i want to get this stuff ordered asap and figure its probably cheaper to piece it out than buy it in a kit right?

List looks pretty good, I would go ahead and do a 3 ring clevis lift ( per side) while you have it apart, easy to do and with the extra iso's in the rear you'll be good
As far as how many in the rear, if you want it to have the same rake as stock , then two extra top iso's per side, if you want it pretty level then one extra maybe enough.
Due to the way it will settle you may want to add an extra later but thats only a 20 minute job if needed.
Oh a clevis lift is when you leave the bottom of the shock up out of the clevis a set amount, most times we use the conduit nuts as a reference so that both sides are equal. Nothing really rests on the conduit nuts, just there for measurement. :wink:
Lift it, get an alignment right away and then another in a few thousand miles and you'll be good!

You'll like the Duratracs or at least I do! :D

for the rear shock would the 132L be a better option compared to the 132?

Yes. You need the 132L. 132 is for non-lifted KJ. Or use Rancho or Bilstein for 99-04 Dakota 4WD or a 98-03 Durango 4WD. They are the same length as the 132L.

Lift is on its way :) went with the suff mentioned. I can get the rings for the clevis at lowes right? Where can I get the iso's for the rear?
I'm stoked to get of it all done, got a trip to moab in a month.

The iso's are pretty cheap, I think I paid about $11 each at the dealership.

so i still haven't installed my franky... open houses every weekend, but i do not need to do clevis or iso pads? just throw in the franky and be done?

throw in lift and be done. give it time to settle and what not, then add spacers to level out and raise it more from there.

took me 4.5 hours to do the front part of the lift today. including going to checker to get a spring compressor and to lowes to get the conduit nuts for the clevis, and then gettin lunch an hour later. wasnt as bad as what i have been reading on here but also wasnt that easy i guess, especially cause the spring compressor didnt fit the stock spring to remove the strut :furious: but i got it figured out :mrgreen: i have the rear springs but my rear shocks didnt show up yet. so monday i should be able to finish the rear pretty quick. i'll snap some photos then. i was going to take pics while installing it but figured there was probably enough of that on here. LOVE how it looks now with the soft 8's and duratracs. makes the poopy green color look half way tough now ha ha ha

You didn't do too bad for a newbie then! :wink:
rear is 30 minutes even with drilling the holes for bumpstops, so you're about done
Make sure you have some good sharp drill bits as well!

i've got quite a few bits, and a drill doctor so no worries with that part. if i had to do the lift again the time would be cut in half. after figuring out a way to take the stock strut apart the 2nd was easy. i did the drivers side first and messed around trying to figure the best way to put it all back together and that took a little bit. i did the passenger side and put the engine bay back together in a little over 35 minutes. once i figure out the easy/best/correct way to do things projects go quick. i did have my bro in law help with putting the new springs and struts together though, only cause i used hand tools and we could both wrench on the same spring to compress evenly. cant wait to get it all done though and do some wheelin!!!!

got it all done. the rear was way easy ha ha. didnt use a single drill bit mounting the pucks either :wink: self tapping screws work wonders. seriously 4 seconds of drilling and i got a #14 self tapper through. gotta say it, i like it a lot now. couldnt stand the color before but now it looks good

31-10.5-15 duratracs on 15x8 cragars with above mentioned lift and long tall texan spacers in the rear. i'll get more pics tomorrow in the light

OK I like the stance your Jeep has there.

Let me beat the dead horse some more... :juggle:

So here is how I am going to do my front: Bilstein struts, factory isolators, OME 790 springs, and jeepin' by al top plates. That's all I'm doing up front. If I'm going to do this I'm ditching the spacers totally.

So in the rear, I'm going to use OME 948s with factory isolators. Do I NEED two additional factory isolators to make it level? And 4 hockey pucks?

Also, where is the best place to buy this stuff for fast shipping?

Hockey pucks can be bought at most any sporting goods place, I buy them 10-14 at a time for 89-99 cent each
If you can't find them let me know
With your setup I would say one iso per side to start with should be pretty level
jeepinbyal would be faster I would say if your local dealer can't get them
