I'm going to get the franken lift when the income tax check and moogs get here. If you have al's uppers what do you think? Is it worth getting them? Also do they help keep the upper joint from hitting the spring at full drop?

He is asking $350+ shipping

I say if you are keeping your KJ IFS, and you are going to keep it for a few years or longer, they are Definately worth it just for the peace of mind that you can service them.

I am still planning on getting a set in the near future.

I don't have them, but I helped chemguy install a set on his KJ at the Lonestar LOST lift party. They look real nice, and have a hd ball joint that can be serviced.

Fella, there is a lot that could be read between the lines with that statement with the words "IF" & "IFS" and the KJ West logo and other post by SKRRacing. Is there an alternative coming out?

What gives???

LOL! Why don't you just convert us all toe SFA.

So far, these things are great. My OEM units were shot to the big H place, and considering an extra hundres bucks for quality vs the OEM crap it is worth it IMHO.

Just installed mine on Sunday...awesome! My stock UBJ boots were torn from raking against the spring. Now I have plenty of room...no contact. Also, one thing I wasn't expecting is that my CV angles are improved. Before, the lower control arm was at its max inward adjustment. Now with the new arms and an alignment the entire wheel assembly sits about .5" further out in the wheel well. Very nice.

That was also part of the point of making the A-Arm longer, and not just a stock replacement with servicable BJ's.

I have the first set Al sold. Makes wheel alignment easier/better, the balljoint stays away from the spring, and the balljoints are servicable heavy duty ones.

As others are saying, they're awesome for lifted KJs with the IFS.

Here's a full drop picture:

Just look at all that beautiful grease squishing out of that ball joint! :D

Shame Jeep couldn't figure out how to do that!

looks like there is still some contact. Is the rubber boot hitting or is it just the steel sleeve that the ball joint is mounted in? Does the upper bumpstop still hit on the arm?

I'm very interested in getting a set of these, so I'm asking as many questions as I can to people that have them.

I have the Rustys OTT style spacer lift and get some pretty hard contact with the springs and ball joint.

I am thinking of changing to the front Skyjacker or Frankinlift. Either one should give me about 0.5" to 1.0" more lift. I have read that bolth of these kits have some ball joint contact as well. The Rustys spacers only gave me 2.0". I will be replacing the rear poly spacers with some Skyjacker coils.

I was thinking about waiting for the superlift 4", but I don't know if I want to go that high, YET.
