I just emailed the company to see if they would start making products for the KJ. Has anyone heard of these guys? Do they have a good reputation for their stuff?

I have a roof rack he makes for the ZJ. Kevin is a fellow jeeper who started out building stuff for himself. His products are of excellent quality, and his customer service is outstanding. He mostly makes ZJ & WJ stuff, I'm not sure if he'd be interested in KJ stuff just because he can barely handle the volume of business he's doing now (from what i understand anyway). Check out his website at www.kevinsjeepparts.com or www.kevinsofforad.com

There's a link to my photo album in the ZJ section so you can check out his rack. Also pics of my ZJ on his website.

I checked his website a while back and he had an ugly comment about KJs on his website. I probably won't do business with him, XJ or KJ.

If this is what you're referring to

It was intended as a joke (notice the winking smiley?). Kevin's a great guy, and I'd recommend him to anyone. He was selling KJ lifts for awhile, probably dropped them due to lack of demand.

Well if you are ever in the area again there is some great all-sports lakes in the area. Not to hyjack my own thread, but there are 2 chains of lakes that you can literally put your boat in on one side and travel down the chain, dock up to a resteraunt (Zukey Lake Tavern is my favorite) to have lunch/dinner/ a few beers, then by the end of the day pull your boat out 20 miles from where you started. I guess I was lucky growing up where I did. Summers as a kid were some of the best times I've had in life.

This> is me rolling my eyes.

Any vendor that wants to support the KJ is cool as long as they are making Good products and not just crap. There are lots of crappy items out there for KJ's And other Jeeps, just look around Epay.
Hopefully they also have some sort of appreciation for the KJ too and are not just in it to make a quick buck. (i said HOPEFULLY, not that we would know for sure  )

Read his "about me" page. It's pretty clear that he's not just out to make money. Maybe if enough folks e-mail about KJ parts he'll consider making some stuff. I'd defintely buy anything from him after seeing the quality put into my rack.

Well, I sent them an email asking about KJ products and Steve wrote me back...

"Hey, how are ya today? Well sorry to say that KJ products aren't
in the list of things to do. I love KJ's and when my ZJ was stolen I even
considered buying one. We are so busy with trying to keep up with our
current products that all plans for new products have been put on the
back burner. What kind of products were you thinking about? Just curious. If you can think of anything else we can help you with, just ask.

-Steve"

Doesn't sound like a KJ hating company to me (shrug). But they don't make KJ stuff and aren't planning to anyway. So, who cares?

And this :-)r :x   is me laughing at people who get mad when evil people are shocked.

Oh, any did anyone else notice those sale prices on the Spray On Mud? Wow! That's like a $1400 savings for WJ owners! Ha!
