I have just installed some rancho RSX17505's to my little aussie KJ

i have a question

my RHS Strut assembly is squeeking when its compressed and released

could it be

a: Over tight causing a bulge in the bushing , or

b: not tight enough

i am out of ideas guys

oh and I know its not the sway bar bushings i have lubricated them

One of my Ranchos did that when it was new, then it progressed into the nocking sund I'm hearing now. I'm taking the strut out this weekend to check it out.

well

i found out what was causing the squeek in fy rhs strut, the dust cover has about 2-3 mm movement making it squeek when the suspension flexes, hit it with a heap of LANOTEK and hey presto squeek gone,

i might pull it out and see if i can tighten it some more over the weekend

We did'nt have time to look at it. We worked from 9:30 AM on Saturday, to 1:30 AM on Sunday. Man we are tired and sore. I'm going to look at it this week some time. I'll let you know what I find.
