I looked at similar kits but found them to be quite expensive in comparison to buying recovery items
separately.
Then bought a good size duffel bag and stuffed it full with all the gear.

That’s not a bad idea. I was looking to do the same thing until I found a good price on the Hi-Lift Kit. I found it for $118.95 shipped. The reviews on the Hi-Lift are excellent. I really like the telescoping handle and overall size of this kit.
