So I have a 2003 Freedom edition and I was wondering if the silver bar sliders that come on it actually do anything besides look good?

oem rock sliders are effective as long as you dont run around off roading like a crazy man. i have had mine on for two runs, pretty hard runs, they worked flawlessly.

however, they are not NEAR as strong as the aftermarket ones, such as boulderbars or the rl rocksliders, so dont be mis informed.
