So I'm having trouble finding any details as to what angles a KJ can handle before rollover....with and without a lift. Anyone?

Was in a stock Scout that rolled turning from driveway to road at less than 15mph. Have been in a concrete truck tipped to where the left tires where 3ft off the ground, truck sat like that for couple hours till wrecker man showed up. Point is there is no hard and fast rule,IMO.

That's what I'm gathering. I heard about an instrument that you mount on your dash that gives you the angle that you're at. It is supposedly for helping to determine if you can take that hill or grade. It was for a wrangler but I have to imagine there's a way to apply it to KJs.

Go as far as comfortable for you,if you roll you went to much. Will vary from KJ to KJ depending on different options, passengers, and mods done to vehicle.

Those gauges are a joke,to many factors determines your vehicles rollover angle to acuratly gauge.

A very good buddy of mine says the same thing but adds..............if the sky your climbing to starts to rotate backwards, you know at that point you may have gone too far :ROTFL: :jester:

if your on a steep sideways or off camber grade.. and your butt starts sliding off the left or right of the seat.. your probably close to going over.

Good call. I guess I'll use the butt sliding rule. If I wind up feeling the shifter in a very uncomfortable place....then I'm probably already rolling. :-)r

Butt puckering up works pretty well if you ask me :ROTFL:
