I need to know whats on the pin for the MAP sensor ?
The reason is i need to determined of the MAP sensor for the wifes KJ is faulty or not, before I buy another.
There is 4 wires for the MAP sensor, I guess that 2 are voltage {12v} and the other 2 are a small voltage change with the engine running. If this is right , which wires are doing what?
By the way I still have the engine check light is still on, i took it to a local NRMA mechanic and he put a scann tool on it and read NO codes, But still the engine check light is still on. I did clean the MAP sensor with engine degreaser and a cotton cloth with a metal paper clip to clean the copper looking element in the MAP sensor, but used care

The guys over in the "CRD Lovin' That Torque" section will have an answer for you.
I do know that there are some cleaning agents that they don't advise, not sure if degreaser is one of them. I used paint thinner and a tooth brush.

I clean mine using carb. cleaner spray and flush thoroughly, don't even think about touching it with "anything". Done this a few times, comes out spotless, like new.
