Ill be purchasing a BDS lift soon, and wanted some pictures and the parts you used, specifics would be nice because I am new to this.

Did you upgrade to their rear shocks?
What front shocks did you use?
Any Bumpstops, isos, etc...?
how many miles on it?

if past, why did you change to something else?

I emailed them (bds) and they said not to use anything extra... Looking to get safest but most lift.
Thanks guys

As a current bds lift owner on my kj and being Canadian finding ome is hard here I am happy with the lift. I have the bds kit with rancho struts and teraflex front bumpstops. I am netting just under 21 inches from centre to wheel well. The ride is really good. For me though now that it has turned into the second vehicle would like more lift. Frankie would be perfect right now. Once I save up money for al's arms I am going to do a clevis lift and top plate to raise the front up higher. Would like to make to make room for 31's now that it is just a toy. I am really happy with my bds lift. It has caused me no problems at all.

Just for the record ( again)
BDS front springs are rated at 435 lb
where as OME 927s are rated at 400

but then have also heard of a couple of people say they sagged quite a bit ( but that was on another forum so doesn't count )

Just installed my BDS kit yesterday!!! I used their rear shocks, and Bilstein front struts and taraflex front bumpstops. The kit was overall easy to install. Only had one glitch with the front struts..but that was just because this was my first time ever installing a new suspension. (Snapped the clevis ring :x ) The ride is great, very smooth and responsive. I actually havnt even got an alignment yet because it rides soo good. My jeep has 75k miles on it soo the whole suspension was shot.. Make sure you replace the front struts while its all apart, it will be way worth it in the end. I plan on using the bds rear shocks untill there shot. Im exacly at $600 for everything including bumpstops and replacing my right clevis which was $40 used. So I saved about 200 from the OME kit...Some say thats worth it, some say spend the extra money.
