ok...been reading a lot here about the aluminum D30. what is a fairly straight forward swap to upgrade? I have lots of D30 axles and a couple D30 complete out of XJ's. so....if you have links Im all about reading up on more....I googled some Pirate threads....but they were a lot of non-tech discussions. Im still ![]() |

Without going to a full SFA conversion, you can't. The only upgrade available is the steel model from JbA, the alu D30A that we have cannot be swapped with a D30 from any other source. You'll find some comment on this on threads here - search function is your friend ![]() |

Basically what lancer said is true. If you can afford to do a SFA swap then do that (10k or more to do so), otherwise the only option is a steel d30 from JBA. Im going the latter route as a final setup unless I win the lottery. The steel d30 should serve any purpose you intend to use the jeep for unless you NEED a SFA. |

checking before i start parting and selling D30's. for the record i searched....but there are TONS of threads to pilfer through...and honestly gets a bit tedious at times. |
