Post subject:  Exact size of front cradle bolts?

I want to do a 1" cradle drop & I was woundering if anyone knew what the exact size of the cradle bolts were off hand. I dont really want to pull all the bolts & check them. Are they all the same size or do they differer from front to back or side to side? Thanks for the help.

There is so much more then just dropping the cradle for a cradle drop. You must drop the t-case/trans crossmember the same amount.Anything more then about 1/2" will cause UCA issues, and actually make it much harder(maybe impossible) to get the alignment into spec.Basically it's more hassle then what you gain.

Oh and the front cradle bolts(2) are M14X2.0X135mm,grade 10.9,the rear cradle bolts(2) are M12X1.75X135mm,grade 10.9.Must be grade 10.9 or higher.Cost a pretty penny also,about $8-$12 each.

Other then to do more lift then you should why drop the cradle? Honestly the most you can do without a drop will be more then enough for most jeepers and if you need more just do a sfa.

I think He'd rather spend 60$ on bolts and do the work himself rather than 8-10K on a SFA lol

Dont get wrong I would love to do SFA but I dont have the funds right now. I have too many projects right this second.

I just want to get a couple more inches so I can fit some bigger tires & actually have a little flex. I would like to try to keep up with my friends 81' toyota truck. He only has 31s, rear auto locker & can make it a ton more places than I can.

Thanks for the bolt specs. Saved me some time.
