| Post subject: | Installing Mopar Skids |
I am now ready to install the Mopar skids on my KJ. Do I use the Nutserts or regular bolts? If I use the bolt method will I have to drill through crossmembers to bolt the skids on? (engine, transmission, transfer) Also would I need a grade eight bolt or better? |

People will say the nutzerts are fine. Some people have problems with the nutzerts spinning freely and making it hard to get the bolt out to take off a skid. Just to save myself a headache (because things never go right for me) I used bolts where possible. I drilled through the cross member and used bolts. |
