What exactly do the Daystar bumpstops that come with the 2.5" lift look like? Does Daystar call them something else? I got the kit that ends in 116 instead of 115 because it came with the bumpstops supposedly, but it is not in the packing materials list....are they four black round things that look like rubber washers about 1.5 inches in diameter and 3/4 inch thick with a whole in the middle? THe directions aren't great and the pictures look like they've been through a fax 100 times. And do I really need a Ball Joint Seperator tool or is there another way? Planning a lift party Sunday morning and want to have my ducks in a row. THanks....W

I think what you are referring to is the bump stop that is built in to the front pucks. It isn't a seperate piece.

There are daystar bumpstops that go in the top of the front wheelwells that replace the factory bum stops for the upper control arm. I never put mine in becuase a. i'm lazy and was tired b. it required some shaving of the rubber or more force than i had to knock em in.

the little rubber washers are for the strut stem to secure it in the daystar top plate.

to seperate the ball joint, we used a rubber mallet and just knocked it open. just dont hit the ball joint it self, rather the control arm or some thing stronger than the already cheap ball joints.

i dont think daystar has intergrated their bumpstop into the puck yet, might be wrong about that. instead of being round it'll have a extra ridge on one side where the condrol arm should hit at flex. if not grab a small thick piece of polyurethane rubber or something and hose clamp it on the puck.
