Has anyone replaced a ball joint for the JBA 4.5 UCA's with out actually ordering it from JBA??

I have absolutely no issue with JBA, both their product and service is great.

However I am a Canuck and it takes a bit for the part to get here not to mention the way I'll get raped for duty when it comes across the border, and I kind of need one yesterday.

Sorry I don't have time to go check out the difference between the 2 part #'s but loose the JBA and go with the K#'s and that's the MOOG #.

Yes like a broken record we have heard many times

and I have seen them ( stockers ) be worn out at 35,000 as well, so some last some don't it's a wear item.
end of story :ROTFL:

Also the JBA's actually need to be gresed often or yes they will wearout fast.

Thanks again guys, turns out it wasn't the UCA ball joint but I wanted to have to part# so I could replace it ASAP because I have a road trip early this week. I suspected a ball joint because I could jerk the tire in and out, turns out the rear drivers side UCA mounting bolt had started to loosen off.

PS: I grease my JBA ball joints very regularly.

Every oil change and after each offroad trip/water crossing.

boy did I just learn this...how often would you recommend. I just happened to look the other day...had about 4K miles on the JBAs and they needed a refill bigtime. I think I'm just going to start re-greasing once a month. LOL

oops my bad...just saw the post above this. doh!
