My name is McKinley I've had my kj for a week and so far lovin it. I'm farley new to jeeps and very new to jeep libertys. I've just purchased a 04 maroon limited 4x4 and I want to start my off road build. I dont have a lot of funds so keep in mind low budget parts. my questions are what brands should i use for my bumper, suspesnion, tires, exhaust, cargo trey, coller rack and lader maybe. etc Ive been looking at the rough contry 3'' lift. i hear its some what quality and falls in my price range of 300 lol. I keep looking at a bunch of awesome custom bumpers but they all look to expensive for me. I would like one with fog lights and winch capability..? If i have a 3 inch lift could i clear 32's well? withought any rubbingg? I hear exhaust will help with my mpg any cheap routs? nothing that sounds like doo doo.. In the limited there is a lot of silver plastic. is there a good website to replace that with some sort of carbon firber or somthing? thanks for any help |

I know you said your on a budget, but get as high quality parts as you can. You get what ya pay for. Better do it right now than have to re-do it in a few months. |

I think I'm gonna leave the stock tires, do a cheap lift and wait till I can afford a 4 or 6'' lift. I just need somthing to get me by.. So ill stop bottoming out lol |

Buy cheap and you'll still bottom out save your money for the real thing if you're going to go cheap just throw the money in the garbage and be done, almost the same thing ![]() |
