I rode in a 5.7 Hemi 4dr Jeep Wrangler Friday. That was a life changer right there.

The Hemi Wrangler I rode in was a Burnsville Offroad project, but the guy said he did all the work himself.
Maybe I'll check into those guys.

I would prefer the carb over fuel injected. Much easier to maintain. I had this discussion with my buddy on Facebook.

If you can't change a U-joint how you going to tune a carb? Ever been on a long, steep, rough hill with a carb? Motor dead, rolling backwards is a lot of fun. FI or propane is the way to go. :JEEPIN:

X2.............

But you want the simplest form of FI if you can like GM's old TBI or some of these newer addon FI kits for old school V8's which are stupid simple and has very little wiring.

Though I did rebuild my buddies 650 Holly double pump on the side of I-5 during rush hour in LA,talk about fun

I would settle for the Boss 302 from a Mustang. It has 444Hp and a ton of torque in a small package.

If I had to put a non jeep engine it would have to be a SBF. But in all honesty why not just build the 3.7? A built engine with all the bolt ons and blown (low psi) would yield more then enough power for any user.

My :2cents: on motor swaps is a Big Turbo Cat 4BT that's my Poison. More compact (I guess it's taller tho) and more than double the Torque of a v8.
