Anyone know where I can get some instructions / Pics / Guide for installing the Rusty's Tranny Skid on a 2002 Liberty?

Apparently Rusty doesn't include any help with the Skid at all . . .

Thanks,
Brandon

from my mosty recent experience, they dont really provide help with anything anymore

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... highlight=

first off, lets hope you got the right one (rusty's seems a bit unsure about which skid fits which years). if you did, it is my understanding that the bolt holes will line up with the mounting bolts for the crossmember (in the back) and the front crossmemeber that the stock front skid is mounted to (for the front). if the holes all line up, just use the stock bolts and bolt it up. make sure you put the front of rusty's skid under the oem front skid.

from what i could see, the bolt they provide is for the front right hand side. it should go all the way through the crossmember and use a nut on the end

of course mine didnt work out so well and took alot of modding to finally get it to work. this was on an 04 though.

it hangs so low i am sure it will get ripped off anyway :x

I did get in touch with Rusty's yesterday and one of their guys gave me the high points . . . so it should be doable. Here's to hoping that I got the right skid in the first place, hehe. I'm sure I did since I'm a 2002, first gen . . . nothing special to worry about there.

It's going on this weekend!
