My KJ will out perform my brother's Z-71 off road.

Dang it, dang it, dang it.

I see that KJ with the spiffy tires sitting high in the air and feel a longing in my Jeeper soul to get out some aftermarket catalogs and J.E.E.P. (Just Empty Every Pocket).

That is not the plan, though. My plan is to mod my TJ for off-roading and keep the KJ stock.

Stock, my KJ has 4x4 and gets around on seriously bad roads with grace and handles good roads with a surprising amount of speed (3.7L, 4-speed auto, and 3.73 axle gearing). People can get in and out of the front and back seats without being gymnasts (unlike my TJ). I really want to keep the KJ stock. I do. Yep. Really.

Either that, or buy a THIRD Jeep, so I have a KJ to mod also. I can only drive one vehicle at a time. Nope, doesn't make sense. I don't want to do that. Really I don't.

*runs off to find the automotive classifieds*

Does it really? Tell us more . . . :D

I know a couple of guys with Z71 4x4's and they balk everytime I even mention my Libby in the same sentence . . . I like whatever. Unfortunately I've never done anything hard core enough to prove it other than driving through Houston flooded roads up to the middle of my Bumper (before the lift) . . .

Sounds like you have a good story though . . . me wants to hear!
