I posted this earlier but it was buried along with another question so I'll give it its own post....I just got the daystar lift for my CRD and it asks for a Ball Joint removal tool.....any way of doing this without one (and without damaging anything)? Anyone with experience with the Daystar lift have any tips or advice before I get started Sunday morning? THanks..W |

I just put it on jackstands, loosened the nuts about half way, put a floorjack under the nut/bolt, put some pressure on it, and hit the side of the lower arm with a 2.5lb hammer a couple times and POP. |

Once you remove the nut, having somebody turn the steering wheel back and forth also helps get things moving. |
