Yes. It is annoying as can be. The guys at Power had the Jeep for 2 days on two occasions and it still does it.
There is a TSB for it: 08-026-01 DEC 01

I have a problem with my interior lights that are just driving me insane! The lights come on automatically with the headlights on or off while I am driving! Talk about annoying at night! Has anyone had this problem or is it just unique for my ride? Bian |

I seem to remember something about a short in the lighting stalk or the entire multifunction switch unit. This caused the dash light brightness to change at random. I had this for a while. I turned the brightness all the way up until it clicked into position. No more flashing. For me it seemed like there was a problem in the variable adjustment portion of the dash lighting switch. |

Thanks Guys, just as I suspected! the only thing is that mine does it in reverse of having the switch all the way up! I will look into the TSB as soon as I can give up the vehicle for any length of time! Brian |
