Could anyone please explain why you get more overall lift than that you do on the clevis?
I was shocked after reading things like:
"My 1/8" Clevis netted about 1/2" overall or so"
"I did a 1/2" Clevis and got about 3/4" more lift"
:?: :?: :?:
Cheers

Geomerty. The celvis bracket attaches to the middle of the lower a-arm. The wheel is at the end of the a-arm. Push down on the middle and it causes about twice the displacement at one end if the other end is fixed. Simply cantilever. Go look at it and you will see instantly. I would draw you a picture if I could.

I got it. Thanks mate.
So the same applies to the spring rubber spacers, right?
Do you know something like a proportional rule?

Same for anykind of spacer in the front. I honestly think it is something like 1.7 times the clevis lift. I know it not quite 2 times but seem to me more than 1.5 times. Either way somewhere between 1.5 and 2 times the clevis lift is the additional height you will gain.
