Bumper time.
It is happening finally.
Just need help making a decision.
I can't spend more than $200.
Therefore, I have a couple of choices.
I have measured the frontish, to ~67inches. Problem being that the bumpers I have to choose from are short... 50" average...
My brother has a welder, just has not broken it out yet.
Problem is on choices... I want front receiver hitch and shackle mounts. (brother can weld on the shackle mounts, hopefully)

These are my choices...
1. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Bumpers-Tire-Carriers-and-Winch-Mounts/Front-50-Rock-Bumper-with-Receiver-by-Olympic-4x4.aspx?t_c=64&t_s=26&t_pt=6410&t_pl=102969&t_pn=OLY543-124

2. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Bumpers-Tire-Carriers-and-Winch-Mounts/Front-57-Rock-Bumper-with-Receiver-by-Olympic-4x4.aspx?t_c=64&t_s=26&t_pt=6410&t_pl=102969&t_pn=OLY533-121

3. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Bumpers-Tire-Carriers-and-Winch-Mounts/Front-Bumper-by-Pavement-Ends.aspx?t_c=64&t_s=26&t_pt=6410&t_pl=103392&t_pn=PAV4390801

4. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Bumpers-Tire-Carriers-and-Winch-Mounts/SRC-Classic-Rock-Crawler-Front-Bumper-with-D-rings-by-Smittybilt.aspx?t_c=64&t_s=26&t_pt=6410&t_pl=101084&t_pn=S%2fB76740D

5. Wait for brother... could be this time next year, and build what I want.

I think I like number 2.
I like the curves at the end. Plus it has the hitch that you like.

Ideally I would say wait for your brother and make what you want, exactly how you want it.
But that doesn't always work out.
So if you want something now, buy one and make it work.
then you can take your time designing and building exactly what you want.
You can also adapt the bumper you buy later down the road, change or add stuff to the design.

Good luck.

x2

You'll probably be happier in the long run if you can have exactly what you want, instead of what you like the best from those choices. If you have the option of custom fabricating a bumper I say go with it.
