I also have this, saved me lots of money on my check engine light problem that turned out to e just a corroded connection at the PDC.

The free version doesn't work right at all, odd codes, crashes. Also, I haven't found it on iPad yet. Works great on my android phone.
Well worth the investment and I haven't really used it that much.
