1. If you already have the front daystar top plates with the Polyurethane spacer, then added the ome coils and struts isnt this is what is referred to as a diy frankie/ faken-lift ? 2. all said and done is their a real differnce in ride quality and height, the franken lift uses a steel spacer instead of the poly spacer 3. wouldnt using the poly spacer transmit less road vibration to the cockpit which is why daystar refers it as comfort ride ? 4. If they both have the same coil pretension and height( unless they dont) would you not rather use the poly spacer instead of steel spacer for a smoother ride? (not really expecting a cadillac ride)but wouldnt it be like having your cake and eating it too |

First you can not use the Daystar kit with OME springs. Daystar sacers are thicker than what they use in a Frankenlift Next, Steel spacer in a Frankenlift??? Where are you seeing that? These are the parts for a Frankinlift minus shocks and springs bigger spacer goes on the bottom and smaller on top. ![]() Heres with my OME front springs and Rancho RSX shocks ready to go together, lift number two installed at 125,000 miles Darn first OME Lift only lasted 100,000 before I took it off

I guess the statement of a Franky using steel plates threw me off.

Thanks for that info Jayme didnt know that Tomm great pic's Also was trying to clarify if those black spacers(like in your first pic) in the frankenlift are made out of steel Reason I'm asking is because if the frankie spacers are steel wouldnt u get a better ride (maybe less road vibration) with a diy frankenlift with the poly spacers? Thanks agaign guys and gals |
