Post subject:  L.E.D Lights for interior and Cluster
Does anybody have a parts# list for the liberty to change the lights to L.E.D?
Would love to do my interior and cluster.

Been there and done that and now the courtesy stay on at all times when the key is in any stop but off.Granted very dim but still can see them on at night.Those lights are grounded by a load sensing circuit in the BCM,not enough load and they stay on.I've even added resistors but not enough to match the regular bulbs and don't want to run any bigger due to the fire issue as those bigger resistors get real hot and no good place to mount them inside.

I haven't had any problems with lack if current draw using leds in my kk. All my interior lights are leds too. What i did was go to sylvania's website bulb guide to get bulb numbers. Price varies greatly on them but so does quality.

The drop across an LED depends on color. For red it could be 1.8V. For Blue and white it could be 3 to 3.4 volts. With 12 volts you can use 5 red LEDs; and two blue LEDs, in series. Either 5 red led strip in series or two blue LED's in series.Rememberr to place a series resistance of 300 ohms for the red LED string. It could be 510 ohms for the blue string. Blue string does not take lightly to handling without proper ESD care. If you need 30 Flexible LED Strip Lights . have 6 strings of 5 RED leds, each string with a 300 ohm and 5 RED Outdoor LED Lighting.With Blue you need 15 such parallel strings. :BINGO:

Hmmm, is that why my map lights come on for no reason about once a month when I am driving? Looks like I am going to have to take a look at that wiring diagram.

Your issue is most likely a bad multi-function switch.

At $153, and the service manual saying that just about everything has be be diagnosed with the diagnostic tester, I think I will wait for it to be more than just a random problem.
