I'm looking at the fittings and was curious if anyone ever had a problem with contact on the upper bump stop... Do I need to change them to some type of plug for everyday driving?

No problems..... but you should install the TeraFlex extended stops if it's listed.

Hey, actually you should cut out a little notch in the bump stop.
If you come down too hard on the zerk, you risk damaging it.
