2006 Crd had airbag light on with code 0121 (ABS can't comm. with ECU). Took it to shop and they could get light off by bumping steering wheel. (they said to work on the airbag could cost $$$> so I elected to live with the light on/off and see what happened.

Yesterday my wife was on her way home and the car lost power down to about 5 mph and she limped home.

Checked code again and only 0121 showed but ESC and BAS dash lights on this a.m.

Looked over turbo hoses and they look ok but will replace soon. Everything appeared normal on and around engine; no oil leaks, etc.

The lights that came on esc and bas is the elctronic stability control and brake assist system, wich should get back to normal when you start it back on,except if you have a failure somewhere.

For the limp mode,i dont think it is related,it sure sound like you need a fuel filter change, have you done it lately?Check that out and tell us!

Also,if you say your airbag light is on for quite some time, maybe you have a electrical problem somewhere, wich could be related with the safety systems i just told you,i wouldnt mess with that and bring it in for a tech to look at it,you are looking at safety features there,so be carefull with the jeep, when electronics go wrong, you never know what can happen.

Glad to know its ok and running again!

I change mine at least 2 times a years, just to be safe, for 18-20$ and 1/2 hour job,its a safety we can afford!Average milleage i do on a fuel filter is about 10-15k miles, never more, the service manual says more than that, but i dont take any chances..I got mine 2 times into limp mode in the past, and i didnt like it,i was in the city, had to stop, prime it and start back,so i dont want this to happen again hahaha...
