Does anyone know information on Rocky Roads Rockfather suspension?? Just tried to have my buddy (whos a mechanic) try to instll it in my 05 liberty. As hard as he tried, he could not get the strut to fit in. (almost like it was two long for the connections to line up right with the upper and lower control arms) I called customer service and the guy was willing to try and help but nothing worked. Does anyone know tricks to help get this to fit? Also i live in Chicago if anyone knows a dude who could help hook it up. Thanks for your help guys.. Mike. |

Well first off welcome to LOST and second pictures help out a lot. There is a guy in elgin IL who is a great mechanic who is on here. His screen name is ihatemybike and he is great with liberties. I would contact him he might be able to help you out with it. Also has this said mechanic ever done and ISF suspension lift? |

First welcome second Rocky Road ![]() But since you have it, it will seem like it will not fit in there but get the top in first with nuts on loose then using two rachet straps one on each leg of the clevis pull it into place Now you may need to use a pry bar to pry the UCA down to connect it to the spindle Hopefully he has not loosened the LCA or anything like that Pictures of what he has disconnected would help but it will all go together It will seem like you are putting 10 lbs of potaoes in a 5 lb sack but it'll go If you have more issues let us know KJ lifts are super easy to do ![]() |

Not really the best rated most end up replacing it with OME (old man emu) which gives a great ride and last. The lasting part is the problem with rocky road. But now you are in a good place to learn and great company. If you could send the lift back I would about do it and get OME and top plates you willbe much happier in the long run. Just read through the lift threads there are tons of reviews and combinations. |

Yeah! I'm really glad I found this forum!! I have always been a jeep fan but learning is hard considering most people continuously talk out of their booty lol. Thanks again for the help guys! I also messaged (ihatemybike) so hopefully I can get in contact with him. |

Which lift did you buy? Theirs is a mixmatch of parts with using OME front coils and shocks and their own design rear springs and shocks, or was that way. Supposedly they have made some changes but you never know with them |

If you want fitment issues and crappy customer services at slightly less cost then they are great. Go JBA and don't look back better all the way around. |
