my clutch just went out, was looking for some insight on brands and what not? |

My Jeep is in the shop getting clutch replaced right now. They recommended a LuK brand kit, that is very durable and street-able. So that's what I chose. I should be getting it back in a few days. The input shaft of my transmission was ruined by a bearing that seized, so they are waiting for the transmission shop to replace it. |

Just had a Luk put in mine a month or so ago. Very happy with it. |

Never done a manual on a liberty but most times is pretty straight forward (trucks) drop driveshafts, drop/loosen crossmember, remove bolts attaching tranny to engine while supporting tranny with a jack w/wheels preferably, pull tranny (pull slave cylinder if necessary), pressure plate exposed remove the old install the new, reverse everything, drive. |
