Just noticed this in the emails that got sent out from JBA:
http://jeepinbyal.com/prod-Matrix_Brush ... J-784.aspx

It's the 4xGuard Matrix system adapted for the KJ. I'm interested in some more pics to see how it meets the frame, clearances for the bumper skin, etc.

It is nice to see a new bolt-on accessory available though. I'm interested in just how heavy-duty it is.

Dan

Seems a little expensive.....could almost order a new bumper for that price.

If it's anything like the version for the GC, the frame wil be available alone (with just recovery points), the upper part will come as its own, the outriggers will come by themselves, etc. That "whole kit" price is indeed a little pricey, but for some that don't want to mess with pieces, it might be worth it. I guess it depends on the quality of the system and what you can do with it.

X2!

$800.00 too much money.
You can but a backbone and then add on to it and achieve the the same thing.

Hood scoop is awesome lol, the "Brush Guard" is way over priced if you where handy you could build 2 bumpers for that or just have 1 custom beefy one fabbed up for you.

I'll throw in my 2 cents: Seems overpriced and definitely looks ungainly and awkward. He's got the right idea though...My KJ is a daily driver, mainly lifted for once a month offroading and dealing with severe winters. Don't need or want an ARB style bumper. Something inbetween the full steel bumper and the stock plastic one would be perfect...haha, maybe a set of cop car style bull bars.

Since I got my KK I've been asking for someone to make a front receiver grill guard. I've suggested making it like a Warn transformer one. Different options for what people want.
It should could work on KJ KK. Mount like the old front receiver on KJ up high. Detours winch mount could be a base for it. I even like the receiver used as D mounts too.
