Hey everybody, I am getting ready to have some work done on my 2005 KJ and my truck shop suggested a 2" lift up front and a 1.25 inch lift in the rear using a leveling kit. Anybody use one and are these safe for the KJ? Also what type of performance shocks do you recommend for Sand Dunes? They suggested the Rancho 5000. I do need to maintain stability on the highway so I am a bit concerned. Thanks for the help!

If you are concerned about how it handles on the road may I suggest going to a full spring lift with new shocks
The "so called leveling kit" is nothing more than spacers which given you have an 05 and the suspension has sagged already its not the best route to go
Full OME kit with OME or Bilstein shocks is the way to go
check jeepinbyal as one place can buy the full kit or by the piece
In the end it will handle dunes/roads everything way better

If you're anywhere close to the border of Ohio we can show you the best way to go and how they ride when done right
Your truck shop is only selling what they want to sell not what works best for you

I will be in Ohio June 1st and 2nd how can you pm where in Ohio you are? Also thank you for letting me know about that, I started to get the feeling they were pushing unnecessary parts on me.
