I am looking into my next set of tires and I am considering trying out the Treadwright tires. What is everyone's opinion on these for those who have run them? Also, to get the Guard Dogs I have to get a 265 70 16 tire or a 245 75 but I need a wider tire because my wheels are 8.5 inches wide. I am currently running 255 70 16 stt's and sitting at 21" in the front and I have pounded my pinch welds....will the bigger tires fit? The site says the tire is 31" tall and 10.6" wide if that helps. Thanks a lot! |

The 265-70s are actually a little taller than 31 with only that much lift and those wide wheels I'd say it will be a tight fit |

Thanks a lot tom, I'm only sitting at 21" so I guess I would need more lift before they would fit |

I would stick with the 245/75/16 size. |

NO didn't forget at all he was asking about 265-70-16s not 265-75-16s 265-70s are the same height as 245-75s in new ones, but the Treadwrights run taller than new tires due to the tread they add. But 03CDKJ is running 265-70-16s and 4.10 gears and it runs good since the Treadwrights are also pretty heavy esp. when combined with a steel wheel |

Regearing is on my list of things to do. I wouldn't doubt it runs better either. |

If I ever regear I think I'll just order a steel front diff from jba with 4.10s and locker already installed so all I have to do is swap it in |
