Driving down the highway and I lost the rubber strip that goes on the top.
Is it really needed?
I was looking at it, and it is still sealed, so wondering yalls opinions.

Thanks!

If your glue gets warm it will leak. It's there for a reason. Any auto glass place should be able to replace it.

Your refering to the rubber trim piece right? matches the sides of the windshield?

I never had this piece of trim - from the factory, There was a discussion on LOST some time about about this piece of trim. I think we came to the conclusion that sometime in 2005 they stopped putting that piece of trim over the top of the windshield at the factory.

My 04 never had that piece across the top
The windshield is sealed and if the glue gets that warm to leak you'll have more issues that worrying about the winshield!! :ROTFL:
