Trying to do the LBJ's on my 07 KJ. Trying to take off the assembly where the upper and lower ball joint and tie rod connect to. I see this line connected to it and need to know if I need to remove it and how you do that? I took a bolt out (allen wrench) but it's not coming out. Any thoughts?

That is the ABS wheel speed sensor, just follow the wires back to find the connector and unplug it there. They can be a a big pain to remove fromt the knuckle.

Thanks! We got that part figured out. Too bad the Mood LBJ's JBA sent me were the wrong ones. Apparently the 2007 uses K80767 and not K3199. That's just one of the problems I've had today. We tried putting it back together leaving the old LBJ's but the stud on the LBJ kept spinning when trying to thread the nut back on. Any thoughts on how to stop that from happening?

use a wrench on the bottom of the stud then another to bolt the nut on.

The nut wouldn't go on far enough to get a wrench on the bottom. Tried soaking with PB Blaster and just couldn't get anything to work. Finally just decided to use the Duralast ball joints from Auto Zone. That was a mistake. They have the grease zerk right on top and was hitting the spindle after assembly. So we just filled them up and then used JB Weld to seal the hole. Auto has said they would take them back after I told how they were rubbing and probably would have just snapped off when driving or been ground down and useless for adding grease.

Anyway, thanks for all the help on here and for jeepinbyal's great customer service. They are shipping me the correct Moog ball joints. When I have time to schedule that project I'm going to try taking the time to make notes of all the differences my 07 seems to have over the prevailing information on this site.
