PML Diff Cover?

Does anyone out here have a PML diff cover? Or are they brand new for the 8 1/4 rears?

I'd rather have one that's made from nodular steel.
Much stronger than cast aluminum.

Buy a Riddler and be done with it or if money is tighter buy a BTF 3/8" welded plate cover ( pretty sure no one on here is running one yet http://www.bluetorchfab.com/Product/896 ... Cover.aspx ) you will be sorry you purchased an Aluminum cover when it explodes on the trail, I have a G2 Aluminum cover on my front 30 ( The Ballistic MFG cover I originally got was to big depth wise, and My KJ is SAS'd so yeah I can do that :JEEPIN: ) for clearance issues with my steering components and it makes me very nervous. I am awaiting the arrival of a Riddler for up there too as they are a high capacity cover with a nice low edgeless profile.

The toughest trail I go on is the roads leading to some campgrounds. I am just looking for a cover that helps me service my diff easier and possibly help extend its life by keeping it cooler. That kryptonite cover looks good, though. But it doesn't have a drain hole and doesn't look oversized for extra fluid.

I would love to have a mag-hytec cover, but they don't make one for the 8.25. They only make it for the tranny.

If "The toughest trail I go on is the roads leading to some campgrounds" is it, then why bother?
Better off to remove the cover when you service the rear end to you can see what's happening
inside the diff and inspect it's condition.

If you are interested, PML also makes a trany pan for the 42RLE. It also has the drain plug. 8)

I was looking between theirs and the mag-hytec. Both are priced about the same.

If Mag-Hytec makes one for the CRD, then I would go Mag-Hytec! I have Mag-Hytec front and rear diff covers and the transmission pan on my Dodge Cummins. Great products and they look good. :mrgreen:
