has anybody had any problems with thier tranny?
this problem started a few months ago my check engine light came on and i lose my first gear, i pluged my car into the computer and it told me tranny something then the check engine light went of and and it said that every thing was ok. Recently it started to do this more often i will be driving and i will feel a jerk and when i come to a stop the firt gear will be disengaged and the only way to get the gear back is to turn of the car and turn it back on i don't know if its a sensor or the cilinoids in the transmission, when it works it works great but when the check engine light comes on i will have to turn my car on and of a few time durriing my drive to correct the problem. If any body knows how to fix this problem i would greatly appreciate it.

there is also a solenoid on the tranny that can cause problems. My parents 02 chrysler minivan had this prob. Remember to fix it with chrysler parts. We were told my a non chrysler mechanic that aftermarket solenoids are not as good.
