Driving tonight... had issues:
at take off there was no power... mashed down accelerator to go.
at some take offs there was too much power, creating tire spin.
driving down the highway, no shifting occurred... I was going 55 and still not a shift so i pulled off and took the long way home.
Also, trans temp light came on and trans light.

Fluid looks good, so what's the issue?
I can take video of how I check the fluid if need be.

My brother brought home his OBD reader tonight and plugged it in and it says bad solenoid...
Help with solenoids anyone?

Anyone... issue is still there and really getting hard to drive.

p0700 brother said was the code it is throwing on his OBD scanner.
Is this for sure a bad solenoid?
I have seen some things such as checking 2 speed sensors.
or even just trying a true flush will fix it?

According to the list of CEL codes I have, this is what p0700 means:

P0700 TRANS CONTROL SYS MALFUNCTION

Of course, you could have guessed that already!

I don't have any idea what to fix based on that code, so if it were me I would be bringing it to my mechanic. Maybe someone on here who works in a transmission shop could tell you what you need to do. Sorry I can't be more help.

Ya so I can't go over 40 b/c I am stuck in 1st gear... when i do make it around 40mph, i am at around 4k rpm and when i slow down to a light, the rpms bounce...really need some help here... transmission shops here suck.

Nothing else you can do except rebuild or replace used. I had a clutch pack go out on me. I had to get it replaced. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. First, though, have a reputable trans shop check the valve body side plate. JUST in case. If this falls off (a $25 dollar dealer part), this can cause you to lose 3rd and 4th. Other than that, the only thing from here on is to rebuild or replace.
