Post subject:  Lower Lift

Is there a lift out there that would provide around 1.5" of lift while at the same time provide the spring strength to hold up an ARB bumper? If so, where do I get one?

Thanks

You could check OME

If you own a Liberty, no need to punish yourself with the in-strut coil spacers. Enjoy the true comfort of Old Man Emu Springs and shocks. The OME suspension system provides 1.5" lift for the front, and 1.75" lift for the rear.

When this OME lift is installed, is the vehicle level when complete or 1/4" higher in the rear? Also, does OME make springs that will not sag under the weight of the ARB bumper? Will I be smart to replace the front struts with new Ranchos?

Yes, OME has HD springs to support that Bumper. Check with Rocky Road they should be able to get you what you need (local in PC)

You can also get the OME HD + Rancho from All-J's. Shop around between the two, but I personally would use All-J's over Rusty's b/c I've used them before, and they have OUTSTANDING customer service!

So in the end will the Liberty sit level?

Thanks

I would say not, it would be higher in the rear. I have the ome lift but have Hd rear coils with med duty front coils, its lower in the front. Like the add says, 1.5in lift for the front and 1.75 for the rear.

You can do a cleavis lift on the front to help it sit level, but it may still be alittle noise down. When you put the from coilover together, the coils must be aligned just right for the cleavis lift to work correctly. Search the site and you will see what Im talking about.

Can you please expand on that? I thought when doing the clevis lift it was as simple as raising the strut slightly (1/4 - 3/8") and possibly supporting it with washers. What does it have to do with how the coils are aligned?
