Does anyone have a good method for limiting suspension travel at the rear axle when using a Hi-Lift to lift a rear tire off the ground? My stock scissor jack folded into a taco-like shape quite some time back, it's no longer an option...Also can anyone recommend a GOOD floor jack for home use that doesn't lower so fast that it's scary to use, and won't cost me a weeks pay? |

2.5 ton aluminum one from harbor freight actually works great and is light and cheap. I use mine and a good 4x4 oak block and I can lift even my heavy armored CRD with no issue. Also with the twist handle that fall is easily controlled with some practice. Also might want to buy or make some wheel chocks I have both one set made of the other half of my 4x4. |
