Anyone using this locker? http://www.drivetrainshop.com/OX_Locker_p/ox-c825-273-29.htm Thinking of getting one of these with the integrated air shift kit...Looking for some real world experiences with this.

I don't know of anyone using the OX Locker, BUT....

Considering the price point, and having to add the cost of parts for the air shifter, etc....
you're at the cost of an ARB with on board compressor.

:2cents: All things being equal, I'd spring for the ARB. It's been around forever, and proven on
several KJ's on this forum.

Plus OX Locker has been closed/re-opened so many times in the last few years who knows if there will be any support from the next new owners or a company around period in a year or two.

I put OX lockers in my YJ when I had it. I replaced the the ARB's because I was sick of air line issues. Don't get me wrong I loved the arb's they worked 95% of the time , but that 5% of the time they had issues seemed when I needed the arb's the most. My friend now has my YJ and is still using the ox lockers with no issues.

OX Lockers are "BAD To The Bone". Their the tufts in the business in my experiences. They may have been bought and sold= so what= the management their now aint taking a back seat to any other locker maker. I have one in the front of my KJ in a JBA Steel 30 with CO2 powering it, It works flawlessly every time. I was promised the first 8.25 ready to use and OX was true to there word with a phone call from Chip. I did pass on the locker because I am doing a SFA and will remove all the parts I have now. If I was not doing the SFA The 8.25 OX would already be in the CRD. I have seen a lot of people break a lot of different lockers, not one of them was an OX. ARB is a good locker also, but people seem to have problems with compressors, seals, air lines. The Air activation for an OX is completely different then ARB. Dont want air/CO2, use a cable if the airline or cable get broke or tour off use the "home safe bolt" lock it and go. OX is good stuff. shooter :5SHOTS:
