Ok so I have recently installed a lift, new tires and new rims on my 2002 Jeep liberty 3.7L Limited edition. In addition to this I added a 3mm spacer to the front strut and bought and replaced my rubber sway bar bushings in the front of my jeep. So for my lift I used billstein shocks and OME coils in the rear, the shocks are 2" bigger than my old ones. I used billstein strut shocks and OME coils in the front as well and I have double checked to make sure everything is tight in the front and back of the vehicle. If anyone could help me out or give me some ideas to what it might be that would be great thanks.

First of all good choice in Parts :D and welcome to the Forum!

Did you install the lift yourself? If so was everything torqued to spec when Jeep was in the air, or when the Jeep was back on the ground?

Yes I did install the lift myself, and thanks I researched as much as I could before I went ahead and bought everything to see what the best I could get for my money was. Also I do not think I torqued everything to spec when the jeep was in the air or on the ground, but I check to make sure everything was tight and it is. i thought at first that it was the front strut coil making contact with the metal on my car because I am hearing it from the front, but I took off the 1/2" spacer I had on the top of the strut and it made not much of a difference, or not noticeable at least. It sounds as if there is something that is loose and comes out of its place and clanks back together. This only happens if I go over a bump, and will occur on the smallest of bumps. Thanks for your input bro by the way.

1/2 inch top plate
How much clevis did you put in? In inches ?
Sway bar links must be installed and tightened after it is on the ground with full weight on them, so did you install these before or after?
Did you install new UCAs?
Did you install the front setup or did a shop? If you did are you sure you got the nut tightened all the way down on the shock ?
What do you measure now middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare ?

At the moment there is only one 3mm electrical conduit on the bottom of the strut, I took the 1/2inch/ 9mm plate off the top because it was measuring 23" in the front. With the plate off I am at 22.5" and the back is at 22". I installed and tightened the sway bars before it was on the ground, and everything else when it was on the jack stands. Should I loosen everything up and toque it properly when it is sitting on the ground? I did not instal new UCA's either. The front setup (struts) was installed by a shop because I did not have the correct spring compressor to do so. Also the measure was 23" with the 1/2" spacer and is now 22.5 without it. Also if you are interested about the before and after measurements the front measure was 17 3/4" and the rear was 18.5" stock.

Couple of things
First loosen the sway bar bolts completely up and retighten with full weight on the suspension
Now at 23 you'd have upper control arm /spring contact with stock arms
may have some at 22.5 . Does it only make the noise on bumps/some bumps/all of them? Any when turning etc

Ok I will re tighten them as you said, and the noise is made only on bumps... any bumps, even if I am going slow over a bump like a speed bump. Also I can drop it 3mm by taking the metal conduit off, should I do that? Since I am already taking the front apart again.

Mine is starting to make some knocking noises as well. It does it on most bumps and also while turning. I did a quick test to find that when my vehicle is parked and I turn my wheels back and forth it also makes the same noise, just not as loud. To me it sounds like the sway bar so I am going to torque everything again.

Check your ball joints as well
