Hey Guys, My buddy Dennis (Cowboy Dennis) as many of you know him by...Raced Throphy trucks (one of the fastest classes out there) for many years and his brother Gary has race just about anything with wheels as well. Gary now runs a Jeepspeed truck. Dennis and I were the chase truck for Gary this weekend at the race and man it was a blast.

I was driving the chase rig and Cowboy Dennis was keeping track of times, talking on the race radio, and writing down info while we were crusing down the trail. Man it is not a lot of fun trying to figure out where everyone is when you are bouncing down the trail trying to keep track with a stop watch. I had the easy job for dang sure

We were running in second place and Gary was hauling butt for dang sure...Then on the very last lap...halfway around the 37.5 mile loop....the front left bearing let go and the entire wheel came off...broke the front rotor in at least 3 pieces...tore the front door handle off and the divers mirror.

It was a great time and I thought you guys might dig the pictures of this...man these Jeeps haul butt for sure... 70 and 80 mph through big woops are just unreal... later...clint

Hey Clint-

Glad you had a good time out there. It was a real blast chasing the race truck with you. It's hard to find crew members with common sense and mechanical ability that don't panic or freak out when it starts hitting the fan. You've got all those qualities to the extreme.

It is amazing how FAST those XJs are going across the big whoops.

On the downside though ........ I think my brother has got us paired up as a chase crew for JeepSpeed races through the year 2017 or something like that

Even if I wasn't riding shotgun in the race truck, I still had a helluva good time out there. To tell you the truth, riding in the race truck is easy compared to the work that the chase crews do.

See y'all later.

No way on trading in the Nova... The Nova is a very fun ride for sure. By the way Quinn.... Gumby the ZJ did a great job for the chase rig. Flexes like mad and just an outstanding ride. I had a few folks asking if I was going to ruin it in a class...hehehe. Later...Clint

If we were going to trade in the Nova...we would go for something like this. My daughter and I took the dragster driving school and then she went for her license in this car...Runs 220 mph...Now this is a fun rig to drive for dang sure

Thanks for sharing those picts! That's just beautiful!

How about we add a race to that schedule? The HUMIDITY 300. Start down in NC on the Outer Banks and race up the beach to finish at the boardwalk in VA Beach. Whaddya think? Come on...we need some cool stuff on the east coast!!
