Post subject:  Jeep Liberty Freedom 2003
Hello guys and gals,

I am by no means a car guy but I do enjoy my jeep. Today on my way home from work my check engine light came on and I stopped by my local Advance Auto Parts and found that it was a gross emissions leak. Just have a couple of questions for the group.

1-Should I start my fix with replacing the gas cap?
2-Is it difficult to change out the hoses that it could be if it isn't the cap?

I started with the cap and ended up with an extra cap :? Better to stick your head under there. My hoses were perf'd under drivers side there is a length of rubber hose there before the hard line that goes down the side of the jeep. Lot of heat in that area good place to star looking. Good luck :D
