Noise starts about 10 minutes after it warms up. Kind of a whining tranny sound coming from behind the 3.7 engine down the firewall. AC on/off does not affect the sound, turning steering wheel does not affect the sound, does it in park or any gear. In park, the sound revs with the engine. Had it out today, sitting ready to enter a street, was in drive and went into nuetral. (doesn't sound good) but went into drive and drove on.

56,000 miles 03 Limited, I know, low mileage. I have not changed the tranny fluid yet and I know I should have changed it already :furious: - wonder if i change the fluid an filter will help.

Anyone experience this sound?

Thanks

Wow, no replies :banghead:

Can someone answer me this....what does it sound like when the ac compressor starts going or say the coolant level is low. Does it start making a whining sound?
