The Optima Red top died a few weeks ago. I tried to shoehorn my old group 34 Optima in from my YJ. It kind off fits.. but it's too long The old Optima was a group 35/75 (some say 25/75)

Based on my old YJ battery I bought a Sears DieHard Platinum Group 34 and it doesn't fit. Sears dosen't offer much for group 25 in the Platinum line. will the group 35 fit? I assume group 35/75 is 35 size with side terminals...

Trim the battery tray(short sides) and the Sear Platinum P1/P4 will fit without issue or buy a battery tray for a '04 KJ which came with a group 34 battery.

Those P4's are the best batteries Ive ever seen.
