engine light is on , dodge says need all new sensors and all new cats.. 160000 miles on it.. $1570.00 to replace all.. is there anyway around this. |

If the cats are bad you need to replace them and it's highly advisable to replace the O2's(NTK's only) at the same time. OE cats are the highest flowing and 50 state legal(means they will actually work),sure they do cost more $$$ then the non-50 state legal aftermarket cats that are only 30%-60% efficient and more restrictive(even the so called "high flow" cats). |

Can you buy the correct cats and have a independent muffler shop install? Dealers usually have the highest labor rates. |

Yes ,the Y Pipe alone is 450.00 .5 senser plus 3 cats still about a 1000.00 could save a little but not much.. |
