Okay I'm trying to figure out if I can get a cheap pair of front aftermarket hooks, or if I have to pay out the nose for the OEM 2004 Liberty Hooks.

I currently have this on the front of my Liberty now, and I assume these are towing clamps for an RV? As in these are used to tow the Liberty behind an RV?

You don't have a pic of the whole front end... (full frontal :pepper: ) I gotta think if those are tow points from a towbar application they would be uber strong. What about fabricating recovery points that utilize them? Maybe you could fab a couple types of attachments, like supports for a long load on the roof rack ie.. lumber or canoe/ kayak. Having a load further forward could have its advantages.

The look like a rv tow base plate type setup. Does it connect the frame rails like a crossmember, or is it separate pieces per side? If it looks like a front receiver hitch than I'd feel safe utilizing it.

Looks like it attaches the same way as the tow hooks. You might be able to do something like a rover swivel recovery point:

Keep an eye out for Atthehelm's tow points (searchy, searchy) which bolt directly to the factory tow hook location, but are MUCH sronger. They're KK-specific but MIGHT <hint> be compatible or possibly being adapted for the KJ, and they're shaped and welded 1/4" steel (and the shackle tab is even thicker).

They look to be RoadMaster toe bar brackets.
Any good welding shop should be able to fab up 2 toe hooks or shackles on some grade 8 round stock of the correct diameter that could utilize what you already have.... :SOMBRERO:
Either weld or pin it on the back side of the brackets for strength?

You are correct, they are tow master brand towing brackets. I did a google search for this brand and it came up.

Now I just need to decide if I want to weld, bolt, or hold off till I get the new bumper installed.

Thanks everyone for you help :)
